Debuted to the world. Gained a handful of clients, designed a few performance pieces, and sent a suit down the runway at the Impact Fashion Show (then the Fair Trade Fashion Show). After the show I was approached by costume designer, Laura Cristina Ortiz, to make clothes for an upcoming Hollywood film, Synchronic. Unfortunately, NAHTE’s small atelier at the time could not meet their deadlines, but an exciting offer nonetheless.
